Description
Leather Flying Helmet Type B Brown chestnut coloured leather with a yellow chamois lining and a green velveteen sweat absorbing panel on the brow interior. Domed earphone housings with "TUWAY" zipper closures, incorporating donut shaped wool filled chamois covered ear cushions for soundproofing. There is a five inch hemmed vertical slit or vent at the centre of the nape with a leather panel fold sewn onto the right side of it along with a three inch verticle strap with metal buckle sewn along side of it. Two vertical brown leather straps with brown painted metal press studs are each sewn on either side of the slit to secure a goggle(not present). A ten inch long brown leather strap which is sewn into the helmet seam behind the right zippered ear pocket is fastened to a metal gripper buckle which is attached on the opposite side. The lining has the name "John Millar" printed in black marker vertically up the slit. An eight inch chinstrap which is secured by a metal gripper buckle.
