Alfred Edward Blottner was a Flight Sergeant in the RCAF. He was married the day after war was declared on September 4, 1939. He was originally stationed in Toronto and travelled across Canada, being stationed in Winnipeg, Edmonton, Dawson Creek, Whitehorse and Vancouver Island. After the end of the war he and his wife Dorothy and their daughter Sheila settled in Ancaster, Ontario in Spring Valely -the first Veterans survery to be established post-war.
