MILITARY ISSUE BLACK LEATHER MESS DRESS SHOES. Black leather Oxford style shoe with stitched smooth leather soles and one inch rubber horseshoe pattern style heels which are attached with eight nails. Eight eyelets with black laces present only in the left shoe. Identification code information is stamped on the insoles of both shoes including "size 11½ E" and date of manufacture "1965". White felt padding has been stitched inside both shoe tongues.
