F/O Frederick Vernon McClung was from Stoney Creek, Ontario. Killed June 18, 1945 age 25. #442 Squadron F/O McClung was returning to Digby, England when his Mustang aircraft # KH 694 went into a dive at 1,000 ft. and was killed when the aircraft crashed into Weymouth Bay, Dorset England.
