Description
Sterling silver locket with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps insignia on the front surrounded by engraved laurels and Maple Leaf. Inside the locket are 4 black and white photographs. One in the panel on the viewer's left, of a young girl, and three in the panel of the viewer's right; two separate photographs of men in military uniforms, and one of a woman and young girl on a sled in winter. Insignia is of a snake circling a staff in an oval surrounded by a laurel on the sides, crown on top and two banners reading "ROYAL CANADIAN" AND "ARMY MEDICAL CORPS. The symbol is a variation of the 'caduceus' symbol used by many medical groups.
