Description
1939-45 Star with ribbon and original box. The medal is of a six pointed star with a plane back and the Royal Cypher of King George VI below the Tudor Crown in the center on the front. "1939-1945 Star" can be read in a band surrounding the King's initials. The ribbon colours from viewer's left to right are dark blue, Red and Light Blue. The bands of colour are all equal widths to represent the equal contribution of the Royal Navy, Army and Air Force. "1939-45 star" stamped on top of lid to the box.
