Description
Silver Cross, purple ribbon and original box, given to the mother of Glenford Alexander Marshall. The silver cross is a cross with the cypher (initals) of King George VI in the centre, a Tudor crown at the top of the vertical arm and a maple leaf at both ends of the horizontal arm and bottom of the vertical arm. Inscription on the rear surface reads: SGT. AIR OBSERVER J.G.A.MARSHALL R129522 Orignal box is a covered in black leather with a gold coloured fabric interior. A crown has been embossed on the lid Included is a folded pice of paper stating the King hs authorized the issue of the enclosed medal.
