A brown leather pouch that could be attached to a belt through rear belt loop on back. The pouch closes by a leather strap attached to front pulled-over a brass knob on lid.

2nd Lt. Jacob E. Mott trained as an observer at the School of Military Aeronautics in 1917. On August 21 he was assigned to No. 21 Squadron RFC with two Corps on the Ypres, France line. 2nd Lieutenant Jacob E. Mott was killed in action on 23 December 1917.
