Description
Air ministry issued Universal Avometer. Manufactured during WWII. The avometer was used to measure AC and DC currents and the amperes, voltage and ohms (AVO). Model D was used for machinery such as aircraft while the equivalent, Model 7 was used mainly for radios and electronics. Black metal box with plastic cover and dials. meter has Air ministry logo. Brown leather strap attached to left and right sides. Prongs to not appear to be original. Instruction plate attached to bottom surface
