Description
Distinguished Flying Cross medal box. Covered in black leather, with "D.F.C." printed in gold ink on front cover. Rectangular shaped, opens like a book once a small brass latch button on the long side is pressed. Inside: one half is filled with a cream coloured silk or nylon cushion with the Royal Mint's creast printed on it in black ink. The second half of the interior is filled with a butter coloured velvet-like fabric, embossed to hold the DFC.
