A pair of trews in RCAF tartan with no maker's label. There is a label in the waist which reads "St. Peter's Residence Frances Matthews". These trews are part of a "Mess Dress" ensemble that was most likely used for formal events at the Royal Canadian Legion or other events related to the RCAF WD Association of Hamilton.
