Brown paper box with metal corners; on top are two labels, one mostly covering the other; the label underneath reads 'A.V. ROE CANADA LIMITED' across the top and a stamp on the left side that, the majority of which is covered by the upper label; possibly reads 'METH : 111'; top label reads ' 5430/00/489/4786 Band Qty. 20 49274 CV# C2370 Meth. III Nov 70'; written on the top label in pencil is '$3-'; label on bottom of box reads 'A.V. ROE CANADA LIMITED CD 501429/6 FE 45095/5 SER. 2-B-2-276 A OF T B 18-38-141/A50-2'; stamped on it in purple MK 4; inside the box are green metal clips/bands, twenty-two in total; they are covered with a piece of degrading foam and are wrapped in wax paper

Provenance
Donor bought the object at a garage sale. The woman who sold the item told the donor that her husband work on the Arrow and there were parts from the planes. MK 4 is stamped on the bottom of the box. MK 4 Arrow was built in the late 1950s. Could possibly be clips from an Avro CF-100 Canuck. Lid reads ' Nov 70', possibly refering to Nov 1970, however, A.V. Roe Canada Limited had closed at this time. A.V. Roe Canada Limited (more commonly know as Avro Canada) was founded in 1945, and ceased operations in 1962, following the cancellation of the Avro Arrow (CF-105).
