Description
A map titled Cyrenaica dipicting the area of north africa consisting of egypt and africa on one face. One the opposite face of the map depicts an area of north africa further to the west including Morroco, Algeria, and Tunisia, Libya and the very edge of Egypt with the center of the map being aproximatly bisected by The Tropic of Cancer. The periphary of the map on either side is covered in degrees of latitude and longitude. also there are several legends and figures across the bottom of the front face of the map. Part of a collection of objects previously belonging to Frank E. Lynch. A Wellington pilot who flew over North Africa. Explination on the front of the map states map is part of a series with both sides making up 2 parts of a 9 part series of sections of maps covering north africa that are all "Marked K... L or M can be had on application"
