US Army Air Force dead reckoning computer with brown leather case. Computer is comprised of a metal section with rounded top and bottom. Along interior is a graduated marking system with circular rotating dial used to measure and calculate air speed calculations. Rear side used to calculate drift with a transparent disc present in the centre. Plastic rectangular shaped chart slides through computer for use with drift calculations. "CAPT. R. W. Ainslie Garena Binghamton, N.Y" carved in to computer on rotating dial. Gas supply and time of turn formulas carved into rotating dial of computer. "CAPT R W Ainslie" printed in black ink on cover.
