WO2 (WAG) Roy Cook Fenton from Hamilton, Ontario was killed in action January 18, 1943. He was 22 years old. Lancaster aircraft # ED 318 was lost from a night operation to Berlin, Germany. Six others of the crew, missing and believed killed. WO. Fenton had been wounded on September 5, 1942 while on operations with No. 44 Squadron. WO2 (WAG) Fenton has no known grave, his name is inscribed on the Runnymede War Memorial, Englefield Green, Egham, Surrey, England.
