The Massey-Harris Company (Limited) was an all-Canadian company specializing in tractors, plows, and threshing machines. There were 11 branches in Canada including Toronto. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the company was the largest agricultural company in the British Empire. By the 1940's the Massey-Harris Company had made several models of tractors and successfully made the world's first self-propelled combine. In 1953, the company merged with the Ferguson Company to form the Massey-Harris-Ferguson Company.
