SUBJECT:-
Sir,
I am commanded by the Air Council to inform you that you have been placed on the Unemployed List of the Royal Air Force with effect from 3rd May 1919 and you will cease to draw pay from Air Force funds from that date.
I am to say that, on demobilisation, you will retain the rank of 2/Lieutenant but this does not confer the right to wear uniform, except when employed in a military capacity or on special occasions when attending ceremonials and entertainments of a military nature.
