Description
The flying logbook of R193352 Bruce McPherson, who was a bomb aimer towards the end of WWII. He trained at #2 B&G, Mossbank, SK, starting in September 1943, then at #3 (O) AFU, Halfpenny Green, Worcs. He then passed through #18 OTU, Finningley, then #1667 HCU at Sandtoft, Yorks. He joined No. 12 Squadron RAF, part of #1 Bomber Group, at Wickenby in December 1944. He then flew 29 operations before the end of the bombing campaign in April 1945. He was discharged in Moncton in September 1945.
