Small flare parachute. Natural coloured small coloured parachute with the manufacturers stamp printed in black ink. Twelve braided cotton 50 inch long cords are each attached around the perimeter of the parachute.

In 1941 the WM. Wright Company became the first producer of WWII flare parachutes, anti-personnel bomb chutes, aerial delivery chutes; Wright developed and produced first parachutes for the U.S. Government. First flare chute cost $90 for a $19 profit. Earned coveted Army/Navy E 2 awards in 1943.
