Description
Two Royal Anglian Regiment Lanyards, c. 1945. Both are identical with dark bluish black braided cord with a special braided knot, similar to a 'Turkish knot', tied at each end. Also worn by the Royal Tank Regiment, it was issued to officers for use with the Browning pistol or was suitable for any pistol provided it had a ring attachment at the butt.
