Description
Headset & Microphone, Hand No.7 possibly for use with a wireless set No.19. Black bakelite microphone stamped in white lettering on the inner side with, MICROPHONE HAND NO.7 The press to talk lever is located on the left side of the handle of the microphone. The microphone mouthpiece includes a rubber noise exclusion cone. The headset is comprised of a single metal headband which has a black leather covering for comfort. A tan braided cloth covered 48 inch communication cord with an orange information band reads, MIC & RECEIVER HEADGEAR NO.1 , ZA- 2904, is connected to a in 5-contact Plug. This Y- cord is attached to the base of the microphone, and both of the black bakelite earphones with tan wool covered foam pads. The inside of one of the earphones is stamped with a circle and broad arrow. Secured to both outer earphones are two thin wire attachments to which both ends of a khaki canvas adjustable chin strap is fastened.
