** THIS ARTIFACT HAS BEEN TRANSFERED TO THE CWH EDUCATION DEPT> Headset and Microphone Hand, No.7 possibly for use with a wireless set No.19. Black bakelite microphone stamped in white lettering on the inner side with, MICROPHONE HAND NO.7. The press to talk lever is located on the left side of the handle of the microphone. The microphone mouthpiece has a rubber noise exclusion cone. A metal storage hook is attached to the back. A loose khaki cloth neck strap is present but no longer attached to the back of the microphone. The headset comprised of an adjustable double metal headband which one band is stamped on the outer top with the initials, RCA. A tan braided cloth covered 48 inch communication cord connected to a black rubber 5-contact Plug No. 5 ZAI853 contact plug. This Y- cord is attached to both the base of the microphone, and both of the black bakelite earphones with tan wool covered ear cushions.
