Headset and Microphone, Type HS-33 The HB-7 adjustable double metal headband has tan leather protective coverings stitched into them. A single HS-33 black braided cloth covered 85 inch communication cord is attached at one end to the black bakelite ANB-H-1 receivers with soft resilient rubber ear cushions. 17 inches from where the communication cord is attached to the headset, a second and double communication cord is spliced on using black electrical tape. One part of the cord leads to a MC-254-A P/O ANB-M-C1 Northern Electric R.C.A.F. 10A/2506 Type C-2 black bakelite microphone. The second cord is attached by a spring to a 10H/7836 black bakelite bayonet connector with Canada imprinted on it.

Provenance
HS-33 headphones were commonly worn by Army Air Force ground and air crews during WWII. These feature ANB H-1 radio receiving elements, and the early thin pneumatic rubber ear cushions. This set has an extremely long communication cord to extend the operator's reach within the aircraft, probably a bomber.
